Applications for the Tiemann Prize are to be submitted directly to the Tiemann Foundation by the responsible museum management.
Application deadline: February 01, 2023 to April 30, 2023
Award: 03 November 2023
Please send your application with the following documents and as a coherent PDF file (max. 5 MB, or 10 pages) to:
1. cover letter, naming the proposed artwork.
2. introduction of the institution and the focus of the collection (max. 3,000 characters)
3. description of the proposed work and importance for the collection.
(3,000 characters)
4. visuals
5. artist biography
6. cost calculation, if the acquisition costs differ from 50.000 Euro
7. proposal for the presentation for the award and as a future part of the
Collection
8. proof of non-profit status, if it is a private institution.
9. declaration of acceptance of the guidelines upon receipt of the Tiemann Award 2023.
